Personal:

I am a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Mathematics Department of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate (funded by NSF Grant DMS 0724750) at the Mathematics Department of University of Florida (Advisor: William W. Hager). The main areas of my research are PDE's, Applied PDE's and Numerical Analysis. In addition, I am also working on the analysis of lightning data obtained during the August 18, 2004, storm over Langmuir Laboratory, New Mexico.
