(Suggested performers: Sviatoslav Richter and Mstislav Rostropovich, or Martha Argerich and Mischa Maisky.) How about Mozart's Piano Trio in G, K. 564? Or, maybe, the Trio in E flat, K. 498? (The Beaux Arts Trio is just fine for that.) Or Mozart's string quartet No. 22 in B flat with the Hagen Quartett? Or Beethoven's unsurpassable late piano sonatas with Sviatoslav Richter? Infinitely many possiblities.
